I just thought of something.... my mind goes overtime at this hour. If you are going to do this with little people.... maybe get a roll of brown paper at Post Office or Card store and cut it to printer paper size. Then just print pattern right on the brown paper.
Would save time and the struggle of tracing for little fingers ... but would need adult to iron the two pieces together after the pattern was printed. Use wax paper so ink wouldn't smear.
